LSEAT Academy Information

Dear Parents and Carers,

After 15 months of due diligence, the Full Governing Body voted today to apply for academy conversion and to join LSEAT. The application has now been submitted to the Department for Education. If approved, we have further technical and legal work to complete with Surrey County Council before a final conversion date is agreed.

We know the change will not occur before 1 October 2026 but may be later. We will share updates as soon as we know more. We are also working to address a concern raised by a small number of parents during consultation.

Portesbery School's governing body are now in the process of finalising our decision on whether or not to join the London South East Academies Trust (LSEAT).
